About Northoak Chiropratic

At Northoak Chiropractic, we offer an integrative approach to the treatment of concussions and post-concussion syndrome (PCS). Our team combines neurologic, metabolic, nutritional, and biomechanical tools and techniques to help you get your life back after suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

In addition to cases of PCS, we also treat patients with a range of other conditions. These can include peripheral neuropathy, headaches & migraines, balance & dizziness disorders, soft tissue injuries, back & neck pain, and more.

Our Treatment Approach

At Northoak Chiropractic, we develop tailored, effective programs of care targeting the specific needs and conditions of each patient. These conditions may include brain and spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, fibromyalgia, plus a range of cognitive and behavioural disorders.

Each treatment is individualized and comprehensive, including various types of adjustments, stimulations, brain-based exercises, supplements, and dietary modifications tailored to your unique case. All our recommendations are determined with thorough neurological, metabolic, and nutritional examination, sensitivity testing, and analysis.

How We Recover Brain Function

Our basic approach can be summarized with these three key concepts, which are considered the essential ingredients of a recovery of brain function. These three thrusts of care are used together to bring the patient to a higher state of function and health.

Activation

We carefully fire the nerve cells of the targeted pathway and sensory cortex with specific exercises and stimulations driving neuroplastic change.

Metabolic Support

We provide the brain and target cells with fuel, oxygen, and building blocks needed to create new connections.

Elimination

We remove toxins and triggers of inflammation that are damaging to the affected tissue.
